West Sussex County Council
Since 1997, Cluttons has advised West Sussex County Council on its ongoing land sales programme.
As part of our remit, Cluttons provides the council with initial marketing advice and recommendations, as well as instigating and overseeing the resultant open market sales campaigns and any associated informal or formal tender process.
Acting for them, Cluttons has sold in excess of 25 sites with combined capital receipts in the region of £35m.
Recently Cluttons marketed a site in West Way, Littlehampton being a residential development opportunity comprising 0.43 hectare (1.06 acres) of land with outline planning permission for 10 two and three bedroom houses, and 10 one and two bedroom flats. In spite of the economic downturn, a good number of offers were received for the site which was available freehold with vacant possession.
