Strategic asset review for Freshwater Group

Acting for the Freshwater Group, Cluttons provided a strategic proposal to enhance a number of underutilised sites across London and the south east of England.

Preliminary planning assessments were undertaken to establish possible development options and architects were appointed to produce sketch schemes setting out the quantum of development achievable on each site. This data enabled market analysis and detailed financial appraisals to be carried out establishing the best possible strategy for each site. Cluttons compiled a scoping report setting out recommendations and values along with the likely risks involved in various courses of action.

After reviewing the results, Cluttons was retained by Freshwater to obtain pre-application advice from the local planning authorities to determine the likelihood of achieving planning consent for the most financially viable development options.

The gross development value is circa £50m.
