Dilapidations negotiation for tenant in Leicester Square
Gascoyne Holdings Limited had a long lease of four floors in Victory House in Leicester Square, London, and had sub-let to a number of tenants. At expiry, Cluttons was retained to negotiate with both the landlord and Gascoyne’s sub tenants. The landlord did not serve its schedule on Gascoyne until after the term. In order to reserve our client’s position, Cluttons pre-empted the landlord’s claim and prepared and served schedules upon the sub-tenants. Subsequently, we negotiated settlements back-to-back with the landlord’s claim.
