Cluttons values big storage units
Cluttons was instructed by HSBC to provide valuations of two storage industrial units in West London and Leeds which are owner occupied by a major international relocation and document storage contractor.
The property in West London, which is well located for the M25 and the south east, was purpose built for the borrower in 2003. It comprises just over 90,000 sq ft with the warehouse having an internal headroom of over 13.5 metres, 16,000 sq ft of offices and parking for about 60 cars.
The Leeds’ property was originally constructed in 2000 and comprises just under 30,000 sq ft but is currently being extended. The unit is well located in South Leeds close to the motorway network for servicing Northern England.
The combined value of both buildings was in the region of £12.5m.
The valuation was completed within 10 days of receipt of instructions and ahead of the timetable required by the bank.
