Cluttons values in theatreland

Cluttons was instructed by Coutts & Co (part of the RBS Group) to provide a valuation for loan security purposes on several buildings between Charing Cross Road and St Martin’s Lane, the heart of the ‘theatreland’ district in the west end of London.
The valuation, which had a combined market value in the region of £45m, comprised four buildings, including a modern air conditioned office property in which the borrower had a ground rent interest, two substantial residential apartment blocks let on assured shorthold and regulated tenancies, and retail shops, restaurants and an office property with retail units at ground floor.
The valuation was carried out by jointly by our commercial and residential teams providing seamless reporting to the client. This is a typical example of mixed use buildings that Cluttons regularly value on a day-to-day basis.
