CDM co-ordination and health and safety advice

Since 2007, all building work undertaken comes under the control of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM) and may require the appointment of a CDM co-ordinator.
The two criteria where this appointment is necessary are:
- if your construction work will last for more than 30 working days; or
- if the work requires a labour resource of more than 500 person days, as the project is then deemed to be notifiable to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
