Wapping is a hidden gem along the River Thames, characterised by cobbed streets and historic buildings including Prospect of Whitby, the oldest riverside pub in London. Warehouse conversions litter the area and provide an aesthetic contrast to the backdrop of modern skyscrapers in the neighbouring City of London (eg. Gerkin), Canary Wharf (HSBC building) and London Bridge (Shard). Professionals are attracted to the area due to its walkable proximity to the City and Canary Wharf.

The area also offers some very fashionable bars and restaurants including Bay Tree Hotel and independent shops including an award winning butcher, grocers and bakery can be found on Wapping lane. At weekends St Katharine Docks is the place to be, with an array of restaurants in a picturesque harbour setting. Sunday ramblers will enjoy the Thames Path walkway which is lined by fantastic pubs.

Wapping Rose Garden is a place of peace and tranquillity and is a perfect for summer picnics. The Thames Path also offers many cut throughs to the river beach.
