Cluttons has strong links with various utility companies, notably a number of regional electricity companies and independent connection providers.

We provide consultancy services and hold framework agreements with major utility companies to provide services for a large range of projects. These include industrial, warehousing, storage, depot and office accommodation, as well as distribution infrastructure, grid and primary sub-stations.

Geographically this service covers the south of England and the Midlands, but we have undertaken works across the whole of the UK for out-of-area networks.

We carry out design work for new buildings and structures, alterations, extensions, refurbishments and all associated roads, drainage and infrastructure, and manage these projects from inception to completion.

As a multi disciplinary firm, we provide many other services including party wall advice, feasibility studies for development, planning advice, cost consultancy benchmarking and dilapidations work. We are able to draw on the combined experience of all Cluttons' experts, and utilise resources from all of our various offices to support our function.

We have carried out a two year project as an asset management exercise for a major utility company, delivering flood risk assessments and designed defences for around 200 sites in the UK.

Cluttons’ data centre team is able to utilise its specialist knowledge and contacts to procure the best possible costs and services for power, telecommunications and fibre provision to these key installations.
