Cluttons boxes clever with Pritchard-Smith appointment
NEW HEAD OF COMMERCIAL AGENCY
Cluttons has appointed Freddie Pritchard-Smith as its new head of commercial agency.
Pritchard Smith, who joins from Colliers International has over nine years’ experience in the West End market. He started his career at the highly regarded niche West End consultancy H2SO, before joining Colliers in 2014 as part of the deal that brought those two businesses together.
Pritchard-Smith has an excellent track record of delivering high profile leasing deals for the likes of Shaftesbury, Aberdeen Asset Management, CBREGI, Orchard Street, LaSalle Investment Management, and Standard Life.
A veteran of two charity white-collar boxing matches, where he represented the West End agents, Pritchard-Smith has a reputation for being a tough competitor. He joins Cluttons with big ambitions for the agency team, explaining, “I want to build a dynamic agency team that has the confidence to take a fresh approach to the market. Occupiers needs are changing and we are seeing co-working and lease flexibility on the rise against a back drop of falling rents across Central London. I see a real opportunity in the market for a team to take a different approach to the traditional agency model, which is something that really excites me.
“Cluttons will give me the opportunity to put some of my ideas into practice. It’s an excellent company with a very strong brand, and following its recent restructure it’s a business with great momentum. I have a clear mandate to build a team that will give landlords and occupiers innovative advice that will enable them to capitalise on the ever-evolving office market in Central London.”

Pritchard-Smith, who joins Cluttons on 9 October, takes on the role of head of commercial agency from Ralph Pearson, who will continue to work with Cluttons’ occupier clients.
