La dolce vita on the shores of Lake Como, Italy

This week, Cluttons Resorts launched a new development on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. Residenza del Lago Azure is an exclusive private gated development of 28 villas and apartments with a choice of one, two and three bedrooms. This new hillside development has magnificent and unobstructed views over the lake. The homes will be built with local stone to complement the location. The interior design is chic and modern and features large picture windows to maximize the views.
The development has a private leisure club with a sauna, gym and Jacuzzi plus onsite concierge and private underground parking. There are wonderful views from the outdoor swimming pool and a glass walled lift takes residents up the hillside to their homes.
New developments in Como are rare. Residenza del Lago Azure is in a prime position overlooking the lake near Menaggio. Como is 70kms from Milan Malpensa airport. There is an excellent ferry service around the lake linking all the major towns and villages. Skiiing, golf, sailing, flying, mountain sports and riding are all close by.
