Cluttons has a tailored graduate programme consisting of several rotations in your chosen pathway and the opportunity to gain exposure to a portfolio of clients, customers and properties. The programme starts with an introduction to the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) pathway including training courses, and support with mock interviews in preparation for your final assessment. You’ll also gain membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to develop and expand your professional network.

  • Working with qualified surveyors to identify and determine client requirements
  • Carry out all work to assist the team in the day-to-day business
  • Attend client meetings alongside surveyors, as required
  • Contribute to the production of tender documentation
  • Develop understanding of the procurement process on behalf of clients
  • Ensure compliance with Cluttons working policies and procedures
  • Participate in client design meetings where required
  • Work to standard required by RICS and maintain ethical standards
  • Contribute to team-based fee targets


  • We are looking for talented individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Degree educated - in a RICS accredited first degree (2.1) or above or a RICS accredited masters degree
  • Individuals committed to completing the APC training programme and taking responsibility for personal development
  • A team player able to work effectively on their own with supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive and effective relationships with clients and fellow professionals
  • Ability to working in a busy department with a challenging workload
  • Strong communication and time management skills
