A fantastic opportunity has arisen for talented and driven individual to join a growing and ambitious business as a Housing Assistant in our London office. As a Cluttons’ apprentice, we will provide full support and guide you, initially in becoming a fully-fledged housing assistant, and then beyond as you develop your career.

This role will suit individuals who have little to no experience but would like to forge a career in property, or individuals who have property experience and would like to build their knowledge and expertise through to qualification.

Requirements

  • Lead on all administrative tasks that underpin an effective property management service.
  • Support Block Property Managers to resolve management related queries.
  • Support Block Property Managers with all aspects of routine correspondence including standard letters, notices, & reports.
  • Support Block Property Managers with the reparation and monitoring of service charge budgets which includes procuring costs and other appropriate information.
  • Support Block Property Managers with the preparation of client reports, regular and ad-hoc
  • Support Block Property Managers to ensure the health and safety and emergency procedures of all blocks under management.
  • Identify and rectify errors in key systems and databases swiftly and accurately to ensure all systems are always relevant and up to date

Qualifications and Technical Abilities:

  • IRPM qualified or working towards
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Knowledge and experience

  • Previous experience at Property Assistant level (1 year+)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills. Ability to successfully manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Able to work independently and in a team setting
  • Keen interest in housing / property management
