London, property outlook, Q3 2014

Cluttons has released its London property outlook for Q3 2014.

An upbeat occupier market has added to London's investment appeal with the capital benefitting from its liquidity premium and retaining its safe haven status.

London's attraction as an investment destination is underpinned by the limited development pipeline within core locations and associated rental growth which is starting to be realised.

In the occupier market take up is poised for a strong overall performance this year and despite rising occupancy costs driving some tenants to peripheral market, the City core's fair value rents are attracting corporates to secure space well ahead of lease event and the anticipated double digit rental growth.
