Just outside of the picturesque village of Deia, on the northwestern coast of Majorca, this complex of 21 luxury houses enjoys an exclusive situation, surrounded by the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Palma, the island capital, can be reached within a 45 minutes' drive.
The complex is divided into eight blocks of one to four storey houses with stone-clad façades and earthen hues, recreating the peaceful atmosphere of a typical Majorcan village. Each house has a unique design paying homage to the island's traditional architecture, yet incorporating state-of-the-art technology and comprises 2 or 3 bedrooms and between 1 and 3 bathrooms. The municipality of Deia is situated in the Tramuntana Mountain Range in Majorca, on a rocky headland close to the sea and there are only 2 accessible coves: Cala Deia and El Canyaret in Llucalcari. The municipality is dominated by the Puig des Teix, which has a height of 1,064 metres and borders with the neighbouring municipality of Valldemossa. Deia has been a residence for many celebrities of the art of painting, literature and cinema, such as Robert Graves, Ulrich Leman, William Waldren, Santiago Rusinyol, David Allen, Gilli Smyth, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mati Klarwein, Kevin Ayers, Pierce Brosnan, Anaïs Nin and Michael Douglas amongst many others, which has given it its name of the "village of the artists".
