Properties in Earls Court
There are many grand Victorian properties circling garden squares in the area, but many of these have been split into more manageable flats. Houses that are still complete are highly suitable for buyers with larger budgets. Surrounding the large family houses you will find a number of mews properties, including Redfield Lane which is prettily lined with pastel coloured mews houses.
Living in Earls Court
Lively and upmarket, Earls Court is very popular with younger professionals and families. It has an international feel with many Europeans and Americans residing in the area. While the location is still very close to the attractions in Kensington and Chelsea, you do tend to get more for your money being a little further out of central London.
Hotspots include The Pembroke’s roof garden in the summer, or Brinkley’s and The Wine Gallery on Fulham Road. There is a large regeneration project taking place in the former Exhibition Centre which will provide 7,500 homes with new amenities creating a new community. West Brompton Cemetery is a beautiful park and also a backdrop to many TV shows including David Attenborough and Sherlock Holmes.
