Lettings manager

Description

The role

The main focus of the role will be to identify and win new business. Alongside this the successful candidate will need to manage the day-to-day lettings activities of the Islington office. This will include management and coordination of the lettings team. The role requires working 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Key deliverables

  • Generating and identifying new business opportunities and enhance existing client opportunities.
  • Effective time management ensuring productivity is maximised.
  • Ability to track and review personal and team KPI’s.
  • Valuing property through demonstrable knowledge and experience of the local property market.
  • Delivering presentations to prospective clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding lettings targets.

Responsibilities

Clients and business development

Identifying and winning new business
Delivering presentations to potential clients
Continuously develop marketing initiatives for the purpose of business generation

Financial

Achieving letting’s team and personal targets
Overseeing budgets, monitoring expenditure and income
Monitoring rent arrears and client debts
Continuously identify process efficiencies

People

Supervising a small team
Setting objectives and targets for team members
Identifying development needs of team members

Assisting with recruitment activity as and when required


Requirements

  • Negotiating skills
  • Selling skills
  • Confident in presentation delivery
  • People management
  • Understanding of periodic targets and monitoring office income
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
  • ARLA qualified but not essential
