The role

The senior marketing executive plays a key role in delivering Cluttons marketing and business development campaigns working alongside a small in-house team as well as external consultants/freelancers.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a wide range of marketing and communications activities with a key focus on the distribution and optimisation of digital content.

Requirements

Key Deliverables

Brand

Supports the head of marketing and communications to implement Cluttons brand strategy. This includes project managing the delivery of branded materials and ensuring that brand guidelines and templates are followed. Responsible for ordering merchandise where required.

Campaign management

Delivers strategic marketing campaigns across various channels including web, social media, email, video, print and events. Working with teams to maintain and manage contact lists and campaign plans.

Content

Creating and managing the online activity calendar coordinating with the marketing team, research, business development, and business units.

Website

Day to day responsibility for keeping the Cluttons website up to date. This includes acting as the first point of contact for the business, gathering user feedback, updating content, briefing external agencies on issues and development requirements, and helping to implement the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) recommendations of external agencies.

Social media

Day to day responsibility for managing Cluttons social media channels including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. This includes project managing the delivery and maintenance of social media campaigns, pages and accounts, posting content, and monitoring engagement, ensuring that the company’s social media policy is adhered to.

Events

Supports the delivery of online and in-person events (external and internal). This includes booking venues and catering, setting up webinars, sending invitations, collating responses, and delivering presentation materials.

Residential agency marketing

Supports the residential marketing manager in delivering brand and lead generation campaigns for the company’s residential agency business including digital marketing activities and direct mail.

Internal communications

Responsible for the day to day delivery of the company’s internal communications activity. This includes copywriting, posting news stories on the intranet, producing and circulating internal publications and emails.

Budget

Administer the marketing budget by responding to budget requests, ordering goods, processing invoices and answering invoice queries in liaison with finance.

Reporting & analytics
Provide regular reports and interpretation of Google Analytics, social media and other digital metrics for the marketing team and relevant business areas. Support the head of marketing to collate top level analytics for the monthly board report.

Person specification

Essential qualifications

  • Educated to degree level and/or equivalent professional qualification such as CIM.

Desirable experience

  • Demonstrable track record in a previous marketing role(s)
  • Previous experience of property and/or professional services
  • Digital marketing with knowledge of WordPress an advantage

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent project management
  • Good budget and time management skills
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
