Releasing green belt land for development will benefit charity

We advised Leonard Cheshire Trust, a charity that helps disabled people to live independently, regarding the disposal of their property in Enfield.

To achieve maximum value, we worked closely with our planning team and recommended the redevelopment of the land for residential. The property was partially within the Green Belt and we promoted it for residential development through the local plan review, recommending its removal. Cluttons’ planning team successfully managed the submission process with the Local Plan Review and the Green Belt boundary is now proposed for amendment and the site allocated for housing.

The subsequent marketing campaign attracted multiple proposals, achieving in excess of guide. A positive outcome for our client which will enable them to better fund future charitable work.
