Cluttons has recruited Alan Watson as a partner in project and building consultancy in its Manchester office, as part of a continued expansion of its northern hub since it launched last year.
Alan joins from Avison Young where he worked for 10 years specialising in office design and space planning, large project management, dilapidations and contract management.
Cluttons’ Manchester office has trebled in size since it opened in 2021 with eight commercial experts, recent additions include Kevin Scully as head of valuation covering the North East and Chris Severs as partner in business rates.
Alan said: “Cluttons has quickly built up an impressive presence in the North and has ambitions to continue growing its strategic offer from Manchester. I am excited to join the team and be part of that growth story while supporting the project and building consultancy business line as it expands its customer-centric services nationwide.”
Charlie Ardern, head of Cluttons’ Manchester office, said: “Alan’s addition to the team further boosts our presence, coverage and expertise in Manchester and the wider northern region. We will continue to add talented people at all levels as part of our strategic growth and ambition to deliver added value advice, future focused solutions and excellent service to clients.”
In addition to Manchester, Cluttons has been growing strategically in recent months with several senior hires including Richard Jones as partner in project and building consultancy in London, Pippa Rawlinson as head of facilities management, and Grainne Gilmore as head of research.
