Industry veteran Richard Clarke joins Cluttons as commercial expansion gathers pace   

Cluttons has made another appointment to its commercial team as the real asset advisor continues to grow its presence across London and the South East. 

Richard Clarke, who joins as a partner, brings more than 37 years of sector expertise to the role. Most recently he was a partner at Fisher German and has also held senior positions at Matthews & Goodman and Montagu Evans. 

At Cluttons, he will bring his experience to the commercial agency team, led by Ed Moore, to support its growth strategy. His primary focus will be on central London, where he will serve a diverse client base ranging from publicly listed companies and international conglomerates to high-net-worth individuals. 

In a career spanning the full breadth of commercial property transactions, including occupational lease consultancy and strategy, acquisitions, disposals, development and capital markets investment, Richard has built a reputation for delivering on complex, high-profile assignments including advising Hamilton on the repositioning of 8 Fenchurch Place, a 20,000 sq ft transaction in the City of London market.

Clarke’s appointment follows the recent announcement of Mark Sambridge and Gareth Buckley as joint Heads of Commercial, and forms part of Cluttons’ continued investment in building out its commercial sector capabilities.
