Yes, many of the area’s historic warehouses have been converted into apartments and flats. Developments like this have become highly sought after, especially the more architectural developments like China Wharf.  

Are there good green spaces nearby? 

Yes, Potters Fields Park is the nearest and most well-known green space. With its riverside views, it’s perfect for a quick walk or picnic in the summer. Southwark Park has a great Café and has plenty of things to do during the year if you’re looking for a family day out.  

Is it easy to get to Central London? 

Accessing central London is hassle-free from Shad Thames. Close to London Bridge station (Jubilee, Northern and rail services), it takes around 30 minutes or less by public transport, around an hour to walk, and 20 minutes to cycle.
