Cluttons appoints Andrew Rutter as Partner, Head of Newcastle 

Real assets advisor Cluttons has appointed Andrew Rutter as Partner and Head of Newcastle, strengthening its presence in the North East as the business continues its strategic growth in the Commercial sector and across the UK.

Andrew will also lead the Valuation service line for the Newcastle office, overseeing a growing multi‑disciplinary team. 

Cluttons’ national valuation capabilities continue to grow as the business expands its commercial advisory offer for lenders, investors and public sector clients. Andrew brings more than 15 years of experience across valuation, estates management, public sector advisory and large‑scale development projects.  

He joins Cluttons from Method Valuation, having previously held senior roles at Capita Business Services, Durham University and the Ministry of Defence.  

He joins Cluttons from Method Valuation UK Limited and has previously held senior roles at Capita Business Services and Durham University. He has also served as National Lead at the Defence Infrastructure Organisation within the Ministry of Defence, and at Lambert Smith Hampton, where he was Director of Valuation. 

This appointment follows Cluttons’ recent Profit Share Partner promotions and underscores the firm’s ongoing growth of its digital infrastructure, energy transition and commercial advisory teams.
