Twelve women who work across property joined forces with EG and Ginger Public Speaking as part of the Future Female Leaders programme.
This is a programme which has been designed to help women in the industry find their voice and the confidence to make them heard in what can sometimes be a male-dominated environment. EG has made it their mission to support the next female leaders of our industry, giving them the confidence to believe what they have to say is important and matters to their peers and clients.
The programme culminated in an evening of inspiring TED-style talks presented by the FFL participants with no notes, no cues, and few or no slides to back up their talks. It was all about them, all about their messages – and their voices.
Among the participants was Victoria Martin, a partner in residential consultancy at Cluttons, who took the opportunity to address some of the misconceptions about the residential industry in her talk “Resi is relevant: the trillion pound industry we need to talk about”, and what we can do to draw in more talent.
