Cluttons expands digital infrastructure team with new head of design  

Real assets advisory Cluttons has appointed Jay Glover as Head of Design to lead a newly formed Design & Acquisition team within its growing digital infrastructure division.  

The specialist team will focus on site design for telecommunications infrastructure, such as mobile base stations, to support digital operators achieve greater network coverage for both fixed line (like landlines or broadband) and mobile clients (wireless communication). It also brings expertise in the design of EV charging infrastructure, battery storage facilities and data centre solutions.  

The four-person team will bolster Cluttons’ infrastructure service offering, aligning with the company’s wider growth strategy.  

Glover joins from telecommunications service provider Clarke Telecom, where he headed up the company’s design team. He’s worked in the telecommunications sector for over 20 years.   

Glover will lead the team with a combined experience of 93 years. Peter Doyle, who has been in telecommunications for 27 years, joins as a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Manager; Steve Bishop, who has been working in the sector for 26 years and joins as a Design Manager; and Kelly Davies, an Admin Manager with 20 years’ experience.  

The team will be based in Manchester.
