Advising National Grid on the London Power Tunnels 1 & 2

We have worked for National Grid on LPT 1 and LPT 2 since 2016, where we advised on site identification and acquisition which included a transaction for the Acre Lane construction LPT 2 site in Brixton. This secured a key construction site pre-CPO application.

Our work on LPT 1 included lease renewal and valuation advice of LPT 1 sites and buildings, whilst we advised on a diminution of land value claim on Chelsea Island as a result of the LPT 1 sub-surface tunnel.

On LPT 2, we provided various support including valuations of land at Wimbledon sub-station, Crayford (Public Open Space), New Cross, and Isle of Grain. Further we secured pre-CPO agreements in Falconbrook, and supported the Project on acquisition, valuation, compensation across the scheme.
