Relocation & workplace strategy

Project overview

Cluttons acted as project managers to support the charity’s Head Office move and consolidation to One Embassy Gardens.

How we helped

The charity-appropriate design was chosen, reusing the exiting fit out whilst introducing a step change in the office environment which supported activity-based working and event hosting. We translated the workplace studies and trials into new ways of working, appointed the project team, finalised budgets and prepared detailed client requirements.

Our team led technical negotiations with the landlord including license to alter approvals, managed the tender process and appointment of the contractor, prepared and agreed the JCT contract with the contractor, and managed and administered the contract to completion and handover.

Outcome

We translated the workplace studies and trials into new ways of working resulting in a 59% reduction in overall office space. Our team supported the charity’s relocation delivering the new space on time and within budget whilst maintaining the BREEAM Excellent rating.

“What a fantastic experience we have had, they have taken very good care of us, and have felt extremely supported during the move.”
