“Cluttons’ graduate process was by far and away the best and the least stressful out of all I experienced.

“There are just three stages to undertake. The process starts with a short response to a handful of questions to find out a little about yourselves and your interest in property. If successful, this is followed by a phone call expanding on the answers given in the first step. The final stage consists of an assessment day, combining presentations, a game, and an interview.

“The process is also a fantastic way for you to find out more about the company. Presentations from teams within the business will give you a flavour of what you will be doing if you rotate here, helping you to formulate your own ideas of how you would like to steer your experience during the scheme. Chatting with grads at the end of the day will give you an opportunity to find out everything you need to about the grad scheme experience.

“This was the only application process where I felt I wouldn’t be just a number in a corporate machine. Everyone throughout the process was very attentive, helpful, and most importantly, friendly! This definitely helped to keep the stress levels down. As opposed to other grad processes, I felt comfortable from the start and could actually be myself.”

“After graduating from the MSc Real Estate programme from Reading, I joined Cluttons as a commercial graduate surveyor. The graduate scheme allows me to gain various experience and insights from three different rotations, from research role to client-facing role, which provide sufficient experience in gaining my APC.

“There are also different CPD sessions held in the office to keep us updated on the industry knowledge and social events with colleagues and clients to build our networks. My managers and peers have been very supportive in both my day-to-day work and my APC journey. This is particularly important to me as I am relatively new to the UK. They have made my process of adapting to a new working culture much easier than I anticipated.”
